Harry’s set to scored big as bad guy
HARRY Redknapp has been tipped to play a villain in EastEnders after starring in the Line of Duty spoof. Bosses were stunned by his acting talent and have recommended him for a serious role in the long-running soap.
The football legend,75, was asked to play a crooked cop “H” in a parody of the drama with comedian and Great British Radio chief Mike Osman. In the sketch, Harry says: “I am H, that’s what people call me, it’s short for Harry. Last week I was cooking jam roly-polies.
Osman, 62, revealed: “Harry was an absolute natural. I’ve never worked with a better actor and I’m not exaggerating. “I’ve recommended him for a serious role in EastEnders as a proper EastEnders villain.”
The ex-West Ham boss made a guest appearance as himself last year. He walked into the Queen Vic and was served by Danny Dyer, 44, who plays Mick Carter.
